Our Beneficiary: Hayward Twin Oaks Montessori School is our only beneficiary.
History: The Friends organization was created at the direction of the joint governing board of Silver Oak High School Public Montessori Charter and Golden Oak Montessori of Hayward, prior to their merger into Hayward Twin Oaks Montessori School. We were incorporated in 2019. Fun fact, we are called the Friends of Hayward Public Montessori because in 2019, the merged school was named Hayward Public Montessori.
Current Campaigns & Goals:
- Raise $70,000 for the 23/24 Annual Giving Fund (Funds will be granted to HTOMS in the 23/24 school year for specified expenses)
- Raise $100,000 from the external community to build a mental health wellness center on the school’s permanent campus.
